POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Microfluidics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and optimising microfluidic devices that support various aspects of our organoid and 3D cell culture research. You will work closely with our research team to integrate microfluidic systems into experiments, helping to improve workflow automation, data accuracy, and scalability.

As a Microfluidics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and optimising microfluidic devices that support various aspects of our organoid and 3D cell culture research. You will work closely with our research team to integrate microfluidic systems into experiments, helping to improve workflow automation, data accuracy, and scalability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and fabricate microfluidic devices tailored to organoid culture and experimentation.
- Optimise the integration of microfluidics with biological assays to enhance experimental throughput and precision.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to implement microfluidic solutions in research workflows.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot microfluidic systems and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and GLP standards in the development and use of microfluidic devices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of designs, protocols, and experimental results.
- Master’s or Ph D in Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields with a focus on microfluidics.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with microfluidic device fabrication and operation, including techniques such as soft lithography, 3D printing, and PDMS moulding.
- Familiarity with 3D cell culture and organoid technologies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and experience in designing systems for biological applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Flexible working arrangements: Full-time or part-time position based on your availability.
