Job description
VisIC is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineers with hands on experience in design, debugging and testing of high power Inverters & Converters. For leading the technical side of the development of state-of-the-art development platforms for EV and industrial markets, based on GaN power devices.
In your role, you will:
- Develop, debug and test of state-of-the-art Systems / reference designs for EV
- Developing high-power high frequency PCBs.
- Responsible for a complete design cycle from spec, architecture design and
to final testing.
- Work with all R&D groups: Semiconductor, Packaging, Testing and Power Lab in Israel.
- Collaborate with customers and subcontractors.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and/or equivalent degree Must.
- Hands on experience in developing EV inverters - Advantage
- At least 3-year experience in power electronics development Must.
- 3 years of experience in circuit design, simulations and HW board design - Must.
- Knowledge in Analog circuits Advantage
- Proven experience working with lab equipment such as Scope, Electronic Loads, etc - Must.
- Experience in the development of AC2DC, DC2DC, DC2AC converters - Advantage.
- Hands on experience with Orcad/Altium, Spice simulations Must
- Feedback control loop knowledge Advantage
- Knowledge in EMI requirements and design Advantage
- Knowledge in power layout design Advantage
- Knowledge in embedded systems Advantage.
- High skills in English, speaking and writing
Preferences:
- B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and/or equivalent degree
- Experience in the field of power electronics
- Self-learning, team working
