RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL CONTROLLING
You'll oversee the financial controlling operations, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting with a specific focus on local COGS.
Conduct in-depth analysis of cost drivers to identify key areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize costs.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals. You'll be responsible for budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis of local COGS to drive financial performance.
MONTH-END CLOSING
Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting within your area of responsibility.
PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. You'll collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and systems.
LOCAL COGS ANALYSIS
Analyze and monitor the local cost of goods sold to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. You'll provide detailed reports to control local COGS.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. You'll provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success in achieving financial objectives as well as project goals.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
You'll build strong relationships across the organization to drive integrated and cohesive financial planning and cost management. You'll lead and participate in cross-functional projects to support organizational goals and drive innovation.
PASSION FOR ANALYTICS DEVELOPMENTS
Bring your passion for analytics developments to the team by utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques to drive data-driven decision-making.
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
- 7+ years of experience in financial controlling, operations controlling, or a related field with a focus on cost of goods sold.
- Degree in business administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling/Operations Management.
- Excellent knowledge in English, German is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial optimization and cost management.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as SAP, Hyperion, BI Planning, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build effective relationships within the organization.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement and risk management.
- Passion for analytics developments and a strong interest in utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.911 gross per month.
