As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 500 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade.
In the role of Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/x) you support both the central QA and the product teams.
Being the spokesperson for quality in a respective product family, you are responsible for defining and implementing quality assurance standards and validating their correct implementation.
As Quality Assurance Engineer you will be part of the Application Architecture quality assurance team. You will be responsible for defining and implementing quality assurance standards and validating their correct implementation by our product teams.
What you will work on- Implementation of QA standards and guidelines
- Supporting product teams with QA, testing and test automation
- Evaluation of new tools and methods
- Participation and contribution in the QA community of practice
- Elaboration of solutions to tasks from the QA community
- Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
- Great technical skills and knowledge of at least one common programming language (eg.: Java, TypeScript)
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks (eg. Cypress, Rest interfaces, Jasmine, SpringBoot testing, Pactflow, Postman, BrowserStack)
- Good understanding of software development life cycle
- Experience with agile development methods
- Good team player with great communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and tools fast
