Sales / Commercial Manager Central & Eastern Europe

ABOUT US:

TecPac is a private, family owned Company established in Austria10 years ago and already the established market leader in Europe for specialised protective packaging used extensively by the Timber Industry in sawmills worldwide. ( www.tecpac.at ). Currently selling our products in at least 25 Countries, we are looking to continue our dynamic growth through strengthening our commercial team with the appointment of a Sales Manager to cover Central/Eastern Europe.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with potential clients with a focus on the Central and eastern European markets, plus other international markets
  • Utilize market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed ambitious targets.
  • Present our high performance and sustainably better products and services to potential clients, emphasizing their value and benefits.
  • Skillfully negotiate and successfully close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director, provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English. (other European languages seen as a benefit)
  • Proven track record in sales, B2B, with at least 2 years of experience. (Prior knowledge and experience in dealing with the timber / sawmill/ or packaging industries seen as a benefit.)
  • Awareness and enthusiasm to promote our initiatives in areas of Corporate social, sustainability, environmental and ethical practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain enduring client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Drivers License and willingness to travel.
